Over the next 6 weeks we are going to be reading through Paul's letter to the Colossians together.
We love this letter, and we hope you find grace and peace whilst in lockdown, just as Paul did whilst in prison.
Colossians 1: 15-23

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

 Colossians 1:15-23

“Be still and know that I am God “ Psalm 42.

Knowing that you are God, Heavenly Father we want to pray for others just now.

We pray for Dylan Smith (new Tubestation pastor) and his wife, as they prepare to move to the UK. Please open up the way for them, for safe travel, for their visa’s.

For the children and teenagers in our Tubestation family during this isolation time.

For the older members of our church family, for Peter and Ann, Martin and Libby.

For Joff as he completes his final studies, and for Henry as he plans future work.

For the Creationfest team, as they plan towards the summer.

For our NHS and frontline workers, that they will be safe as they serve others.

For people who we know who are sick and those who are suffering with their mental health just now.

For all those people who are finding God again, or for the first time through these difficult times.  Lord may they find you and know you and grow with you.

But what if you can’t find the words to pray just now.   This happens to most of us sometimes.     Don’t stress over it, just relax, and imagine that you are curled up and resting in Gods lap - He knows your heart, your concerns, your unspoken prayers.
Just rest .......

He says.
“Rest in my love, relax in my care,
And know that my presence will always be there,
You are my child, and I care for you,
There’s nothing my love and my power can not do.”

We have a team of people praying constantly for all of those struggling and suffering during this time. If you would like someone to pray for you, or a loved one, please email

Each week the preacher is going to recommend a podcast for you to listen to during the week.

This week we are sharing with you signposts with Russel Moore.
Lucas loves this podcast so I'm sure you will to.
