A note from Alistair

We are opening Saturday July 4th and July 5th

10.00 – 4.00

Then…Wednesdays – Sundays every week through the summer

Volunteers needed for simple tidying up duties from 10.00am 1st, 2nd, 3rd July on site

So glad to be able to confirm that the cafe will be ready for opening on Saturday July 4th from 10.00 – 4.00

We will also be open on Sundays  10.00 – 4.00.

We are not able to have worship services just yet…ether inside or outside, under government restrictions, nor are we allowed any kind of live music, but our online material will still be produced, and you are very welcome to watch that on your own tablets and phones whilst enjoying our menu at Tubestation.

There will need to be a few changes of course… to keep Tubestation a safe and welcoming place…

A one-way system around the site – ‘enter only through the narrow (white) gate’ – Matthew 7.13

Ordering food & drinks inside…but eating outside only to begin with…

We can’t offer table service…you will need to wait for your food, and take it with you when you order

We will be serving most food & drink in ‘take-away’ crockery

No toilets for the first couple of weeks…really sorry about that!

Social distancing…groups of no more than 6…and regular hand sanitizing will be the order of the day!

We can’t wait to see everyone again!

Genesis 26:18    Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham,

which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died

This weekend was supposed to be our Christian Surfers national gathering.

Instead of gathering together at the Tubestation, this year we have gathered around our laptops, but still connecting and sharing our journey of faith and surfing.

We hope you all enjoy the collaborative Tubestation/Christian Surfers Sunday session
A message from the Phipps family
Please join us in the garden at the Tubestation for a coffee and an emotional goodbye on Sunday the 5th of July.

Joff and Stevi Phipps

Heavenly Father,
Some are anxious about being locked down,
others are anxious as we begin to unlock.
Some like the security of being locked down,
for others being locked down has been far from secure.
Please help us to navigate the next steps.
Keep us safe, keep us kind.
And keep us aware that for many the storm still rages.

So Lord, we thank you for this new day, and all the opportunities it brings.
A time to rest and unwind, to rejoice in creation and celebrate life.
A time to reflect and worship, and a time to meet with you.

Thank you that you have been with us over recent times,
Always there by our side, guiding our footsteps, lighting our path,
And leading us forward through difficult days.

Thank you for the assurance that you will walk with us in the days ahead.
Whatever they will bring, whatever challenges we may face.
Giving us the strength we need, and Your peace that cannot be shaken.

For this and every moment, we bring you our grateful praise.
