Polzeath beach clean up
  • Meet at the marine centre and have a staggered

    arrival time 2.45 till 3.30 ish 

  • There will be gloves and sanitiser on a table on the

    stony side of the hut and on a separate table, a sign in

    sheet for one family member to complete.

  • Litter collecting buckets and litter pickers will be placed

    on the fence side and we hope as families arrive they

    can disperse in the same group, and return to suit


  • The beach is much quieter now so we hope social

    distancing will not be a problem. 

  • Please bring your own mask

Our Tube small groups will be starting up again in

September - outdoors for now when possible.

We have groups  that meet in Tregonetha, Wadebridge and Delabole.

Here are the last few tasks from the week gone:

Day 5 - Connect

Call someone that means a lot to you but that you have spoken

to for awhile 

Day 6 - Sabbath

Take a day (or at least half a day) to rest well.

Day 7 - The life of Jesus 

Every Monday, the task will be based off the life of Jesus.

Jesus loved to connect with people over a meal and glass of

wine. If you cant do that tonight then set a date with someone

during the course of the week. 

Put the phones away, enjoy good company, some food and

something you enjoy drinking. 

Day 8 - Mindfullness

Becoming more aware of the present moment can help us

enjoy the world around us more and understand ourselves

better. When we become more aware of the present moment,

we  begin to experience afresh things that we have been taking

for granted. There are many mindfulness exercises one can try.

Below is a link to a short 7-minute mindfulness mediation.

Day 9 - Healthy body

Today's challenge is to have a cold swim/shower.

Research shows that cold water can help boost your mood by

activating the sympathetic nervous system, increasing the

availability of endorphins and norepinephrine.

Day 10 - keep learning

Today's challenge is to learn a sentence/phrase in a different language..

Day 11 - give to others

Today's challenge - Find a thing (or a few things) that you never

really use and give it away. You might want to spend time this

weekend sorting through a room or storage space in your

Prayer for Today

Praising God,  and being thankful to God has always been a great thing to do. 
Being grateful also has an impact on our wellbeing.

Pray using the words of the psalmist: (psalm 145)
 I will praise you, my God and King, and always honour your name. I will praise you every day, because you are wonderful and you deserve all the praise. Because you are so much greater than anyone can understand.
 All creation will thank you, and your loyal people will praise you. They will tell about your glorious kingdom, that will never end.
 I will praise you Lord and respect your Holy name forever.
