All things new...
The west wind was so strong yesterday the waves broke to the horizon and beyond (📷 Phil Williams). Impossible for most mortals to surf but exhilarating to walk the cliffs and watch the drama! All cobwebs well and truly blown away. There's a freshness in the air this year, a lovely sense of movement and newness blowing through all things...
We are soooo happy to welcome beautiful little Isla!!! Joff and Stevi are doing really well and want to pass on their love and thanks to everyone. So much love to you, gorgeous family! Please keep lifting these guys up in prayer, and if anyone out there wants to pass anything on to Team Phipps, please feel free to pass it through us at the Tubestation if it helps. (please also keep praying for Martin Taylor who is recovering from an operation, and for Libby)

So so happy for you guys
Let's go away for awhile 🎵🎶

Fun…and plenty of it…    led by Sarah Yardley & Abi Mugford
Kids go free…we want you there…so kids go free after last year's successful offer. Our friends at Treloyhan Manor need £96 per adult, and £15-£33 for older teens, to cover costs for 2 nights, 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts… and to let us have exclusive run of the house & gardens. So, because we want you there…  pay what you can afford… really… For some of us this will be more than £96… others less…. either is cool… We want our family to be together for this one
What to do… Give your name to Café Abi or Churchy Alistair, and the amount you will pay…name & number …there will be no questions asked and only they will ever know…(its no-one else’s business!)
Everyone will pay Abi & Alistair when they arrive at Treloyhan on Friday March 8th
But we will need to supply the guest list week before…so sign up now yo!

Get the Batu Karas Groms back in the water!
On the 22nd of December 2018, the coasts of Banten and Lampung, Indonesia were struck by a tsunami due to the eruption of Mount Krakatoa. 12 members of the Batu Karas surf team had just competed at a surf contest when they were struck by the tsunami. Thankfully they all escaped unharmed, however their car was swept away along with all of their boards (8 in total) and equipment.

Our friend Georgia is trying to raise as much as possible to help towards the replacement of the boards, leashes and fins (as surfers we all know the cost of all these things). So far she's doing really well - but more more info and donations please visit this link to the crowdfunder page.

Fingers crossed we can get the Batu Karas groms back in the water and competing again soon.

Perry Tipster

Georgia says, "For all my logging friends out there here's one for you. Perry Fins have donated this absolute beauty of a fin, 11 inch trad logger fin. Donate £100 or more and you will be not only the lucky owner of this lovely fin, but you will also be helping a really worthy cause :)"
Looking for a new challenge for the new year?! Huddle cafe in Falmouth are recruiting a new manager and they've asked us to put the word out for them. "You will manage a small & happy team of staff and volunteers, and help Huddle to continue to reach its potential as a community-focused café.
"Huddle is a Church of England initiative so you will need to understand our values and vision, as well as sharing our love for Falmouth – we think the best place in the world to live!"
