Hey everyone! First Ciara, then Dennis, and rumours of Ellen just around the corner. We hope you are all managing to stay dry and keep both feet on the ground, and you haven’t been flooded out wherever you are. Not really surfing weather although there have been some sheltered spots working but, if you make it to Polzeath, The Tubestation makes such a great viewing spot to watch the drama of our coast as it unfolds. Between the camper van getting grounded on the beach at low tide, and the giant lorry failing to make it up the hill, was the most incredible rainbow (yes it really is real!).

Roots & Fruits
We’re putting the newly refitted kitchen through its paces this half term, and it really is a joy to use and to be in. Loads of fun trying out new menu items, like the avocado, carrot and chilli relish and sunblushed tomatoes on sourdough (above) as well as new cheese scones! Asides from the awesome new gadgets, just having so much light and space is fantastic. Good vibes all round. We really want to thank all of you who helped us to do this, by your gifts prayers and encouragement, as well as (especially) the blood sweat and tears of those who helped us to actually do the work. Special heroic mention must go to Robin who acted as building foreman, and Ged our wood craftsman – gents, we salute you! The Tube kitchen is now fully capable and really versatile for anything we might want to do with it in the future (feast night anyone?!).
As a community which was built on change, and with the Holy Spirit way out in front, encouraging us forward, it’s so exciting to see The Tubestation continue to move, developing all the time towards the fulfilment of its vision; creating new things, encouraging new life,
and never standing still for long, in case it gets stuck! Check it out...
Planning permission has been submitted for our prayer pod and new building outside, which will make such a difference to what the Tube is able to offer to the local community and visitors –
quiet space for prayer, contemplation, meditation and professional one-to-one counseling; extra space for groups, classes on field trips, youth groups, home schooling, arts and crafts of all kinds, talks and physical activities like dance and drama workshops.
Again, thank you for your continued prayers and giving towards making this happen, it’s a genuine team effort and we feel well supported.
You will already have seen that we are now recruiting for a Lay Pastor to lead the pastoral and worship life of our community, full details of which can be found HERE. And in other team news Henry C will soon be giving up his paid role at the Tube, continuing to serve the vision voluntarily when needed.

---------STOP PRESS ---------
Please note that the church council meeting, scheduled for tomorrow has had to be postponed. We’ll let you know as soon as a new date has been set.

The Dark Room
The Dark Room, which was conceived to encourage continued creativity while the Gallery was closed in January, turned out to be brilliant and we got loads of requests to continue the idea into the rest of the year. The goal was really to encourage community building and to learn and teach each other how to use film cameras and develop their own film. We really hope that this idea can be expanded in the future and become more of a permanent fixture.
